This March, the new Autumn/Winter collection from established designer Eileen Kirby will hit Australian boutiques.

Beautifully embellished bodices, noble draping, opulent fabrics and light-as-a-feather tulle skirts - romantically usher in a mood of everything bella, silver spoon, and whimsically luxe!

The collection certainly showcases Eileen Kirby's refined style and elegant design aesthetic. Comprised largely of evening wear and majestic ball-gowns, it features some beautiful, ladylike silhouettes - with floor-sweeping silks and siren-esque chiffons, and an abundance of lace.

It also includes a zealous mix of hues to brighten up the winter months - including iridescent gold sequins, luminescent blue, dark plum, aubergine, chartreuse, limerick green, sparkling copper and shimmering silver.

Lovely and romantic, this new range certainly has everything a girl needs to feel radiant, feminine, and like a true princess.

Focused entirely on evening wear, this elegant, new collection has a girlie, liberated, independent spirit; somewhat of an ethereal mystique.

It features plenty of Eileen's signature draping, superb cuts and shoulder baring and includes, dazzling cocktail dresses (some finished with sequins and bead embellishments), angelic chiffon dresses in various lengths, whimsical jewelled long satin gowns, romantic strapless dresses, radiant soft one-shoulder cocktail dresses, and girly, sexy crinkled chiffon party frocks.

This spring, Australian girls will be given the chance to dress like true royal princesses - when Eileen Kirby's refined and extravagant new evening wear collection hits local stores. 

ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Eileen's vision for this stunning new collection was that it should embody the natural, refined elegance of royalty. Eileen was inspired by 'aristocratic ballerinas'. It features lace bustiers, flouncing layered dresses, tulle skirts, deluxe satins, silk chiffons, layers of soft sheer fabrics, beautifully composed ruffle dresses, and a hypnotic display of luxe jewelled dresses with beads and sequins and glorious collars.

The entire collection is a like a ubiquitous jewel - it has all of Kirby's luxurious and sophisticated style, is compellingly romantic and sensual, and is designed to make every girl feel opulent.

The range has a gorgeous colour palette of various silvers (silver grey to argent) that is beautifully contrasted with soft natural pastels, deep reds, yellows and bright blues and pinks.

It also includes an array of dresses and separates in different lengths. As well as party frocks with chiffon layering and beautiful sheers, it also includes glamorous crepe siren dresses in different styles and prints - all with lovely, whimsical names. Lilly Long, for instance, is an elegant sequined bodice and tulle skirt; New Moon is a heavenly silver sequined bodice dress, draped with a silk crinkle skirt; and Object of My Affection is a shoulder-baring satin silver beaded dress that's swirled into bow: a jewel in itself.

As always, the collection displays Eileen's instinctive knack for gorgeous, feminine style. "This heaven-sent range is about making women look beautiful and feel good", she said.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION
With a truly uplifting tone, the range features layers of soft sheer fabrics, and includes luxe jewelled dresses with beads and sequins, glossy touches, and sculptured silhouettes. With Kirby's typically sophisticated style, it's nothing but superbly romantic and sensual in appeal.

The entire range has an angelic and mystical quality, with the overall theme being "stepping into the light".

The range also has an array of dresses in different lengths: strapless or one-shoulder frocks with tulle ruffles, party frocks with chiffon layering or beautiful sheers, full length jewelled satin gowns, and glamorous crepe siren dresses.

The range also has angelic colour palette that's beautifully contrasted with strong colours: soft pastels, nudes, reflective silver, cobalt blue, hot cyclamen pinks, red and deep purple. It's then swirled up with the inclusion of a graphic print called haze.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHY
For this collection's latest photo-shoot, Kirby partnered with photographer Yie Sandison who set-up an atmospheric setting to create soft, angelic imagery. The theme of "stepping into the light" is reflected by soft, blue-toned lighting. The model poses in a misty and ethereal environment adorned in Kirby's signature gowns: a heady combination of sinuous draping, lashings of silver, sparkling wings, sultry shoulder-baring pieces, flowing & glittering dresses.

About the photography:
For this collection's shoot, Kirby partnered with photographer Peter Collie, to create the fairy and princess ethereal look. The models were Monique from Chic and Rachelle. Hair Stylist Ali Homes from Wild Life created a rope look on the models' hair back combing and twisting the hair, so the models looked like they had been venturing out in the woods. Makeup for the shoot was by the talented Stephanie Tetu, who created the models' strong, smoky, dreamy eyes which contrast with the ghostly face make up. The collection was styled by Eileen. The creative concept for this collection was by Demetra Allen in collaboration with Eileen Kirby.

About the photography:
For this collection's shoot, Kirby partnered with talented photographer, Bec Lorrimer, to create this season's strong yet soft, ethereal look. The model was Monique from Chic. Hair Stylist Ali Homes, from Wild Life, created a strong created a strong water wave look - making the hair look 'undone' to enhance the overall theme. Makeup for the shoot was by Joel Phillips, who created the models' soft dewy eyes by using a soft pink. He created a bleach brow to make the eyes stand out and used soft highlights through the T-zone and corners of the eyes to give the soft, dreamy soft look. The collection was accessorised with bold, clunky jewellery made by Eileen.
